Popcorn Sales 2018
The time has come again to sell popcorn to raise money for our scouting program. This year if you sign up for a show & sell event it will be your responsibility to setup and take down the event if you are the first and/or last scout for selling that day. IF you sign up at 10AM and the sale starts at 9AM and there are no other scouts selling at 9AM you will be responsible as the first seller to set up vice versa for the end of the day.
Starter Packs
This year to cover the cost of scouting, we are asking for your scout to sell $360 in popcorn. Additional portion of the sales over that amount would be applied to their scout account at a rate of around $25 per $100 sold. See breakdown below.

Show and Sells (Sign-Up Genius)
DO NOT BRING YOUR SCOUT’S POPCORN TO THE SHOW & SELL. THE PACK WILL PROVIDE POPCORN FOR THESE EVENTS.
You will sign up for time slots through Sign-Up Genius. There are two scouts allowed per hour. Time slots are from 9-5, except Ace Hardware on Sunday’s runs 9-4. The first scout for the day is responsible for setup and the last scout of the day is responsible for take down.

- September 21st Sunset Sales Start
- October 7th & 8th Early Returns - The pack is able to return an unlimited amount of popcorn if we feel we have too much. If you feel you have more product than you will be able to sell please get it back to us before the 7th and we can either return it or redistribute it to another scout.
- October 28th 11:59 PM Sales End
- Please return to our house any unsold popcorn by Monday October 29th. (Please note that if you are done selling popcorn prior to October 28th feel free to return it to us sooner).
- November 1st Popcorn Return - The pack is allowed to return up to 15% of our order.
- November 13th Prize Order Due - We have to have the order in by this date.

- If you are the first person for a show and sell you will be responsible to arrange a time to pick up from Sue & Don and set up for the days sales
- If you are the last person, whether it is the last show and sell of the day or no one is signed up after, you will be responsible to break down and return everything to Sue & Dons.
- One person should have Square set up on their phone for credit card sales during your time slot. The login information will be provided by Lee or Dan before the event.
- Please ensure that new Scouts are paired up with returning Scouts. We don't want to overwhelm the new families.
- The Class A uniform is required to be worn when selling popcorn, this includes door to door sales. We are out in public and we need to properly represent Scouts.

Online Ordering
Scouts can sell to family and friends online. Complete the following instructions.

Trails End Scout Online Sales Account Set Up
- Go to http://www.trails-end.com
- Click on “REGISTER” in the top right corner
- Click “PARENT, ON BEHALF OF MY SCOUT”
- Fill in parent Information and click Continue
- Fill in scout information and click Continue
- Once registered you will be taken to your dashboard page.
- Click on “About Me” to personalize your page with information and a photo. Click “Submit”
- Click Dashboard on the left side of the screen to return to your dashboard page.
- Click on the left “My Campaign & Goals
- Click on the green “Add New+” button. Enter a Goal Name (select something that lets customers know what you plan to do with the funds earned” and your sales goal amount.
- From the dashboard you can also select a favorite product which will be displayed to those who visit your page.
- Click on “Share your Page” in the upper left above your photo to share through social media and/or email
